Created for the Human Rights Campaign, Expression is an eight-page, 11x17 inch monthly newsletter that focuses on the triumphs and trials of the greater LGBTQA community in the United States. This issue dealt specifically with the United States Supreme Court decision to support and upholding marriage equality on the federal level. Bold typography, high-contrast colors, and simple photography was utilized to bring across the energy and passion of the LGBTQA community in such a heated, high-profile ruling.
Cost-effective mass production methods were utilized, since the Human Rights Campaign is a non-profit organization and did not have a sufficient budget to produce this publication. All photography, aside from professionally used headshots, was taken by me.
