The Instagram account @36DaysofType does a yearly challenge called 36 Days of Type where designers around the world participate in a personal challenge of designing or hand lettering a single letter of the alphabet each day for 26 days and then letter the numbers 0-9 for the final 10 days. This was my first time participating in the challenge.

While some designers do a consistent set of letters that could potentially consist as a typeface when the set is completed, I used this as an exercise to explore typographic styles and push my limits as a lettering designer.
